Currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Turku School of Economics, focusing on social sustainability, Betül Yılmaz conducted research on social sustainability perspectives during her Master’s studies, particularly in sustainability reports in the logistics sector. After completing her Master’s degree, she published a book on the same topic, aiming to identify and analyze the main aspects of this phenomenon. After gaining valuable experience working with several NGOs, she continues her academic career by continuing her research on social sustainability in the context of supply chain management.
